Our Lady of Mercy School leads students through a challenging, comprehensive course of study. In all grades, a core curriculum of reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies is supplemented by instruction in art, music, computer education, French, physical education, and health. Throughout the school year, children study religious truths and Sacred Scripture, apply the faith to other academic areas, participate in weekly prayer services, celebrate special liturgies, and undertake community service projects. Thus, permeating every facet of our program is an unwavering emphasis on religion.
Outside the required course of study, additional opportunities abound for students to grow scholastically, socially, and spiritually. Our Lady of Mercy School offers: interscholastic competition in soccer, basketball, softball, and baseball; instructional sports; cheerleading; drama; band; choir; student council; school newspaper; girl scouts; brownies; cub scouts and a variety of after school club activities that change three times during the year.
